Winter Oatmeal Mask
Sunday, January 01, 2012
January is Oatmeal Month, so we thought it only fitting to give you a wonderful DIY mask, sure to leave you with a beautiful complexion.
Dry weather and indoor heat can wreak havoc on your skin during the winter months. This simple oatmeal and yogurt facial mask gently exfoliates skin and moisturizes too.
Ingredients
• 1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
• ½ Cup of Uncooked Oatmeal
• 1 teaspoon of Honey
Cleanse your face before using the mask.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and blend.
Using an unwanted makeup brush (a fan brush is ideal, apply the mask on your face and neck.
Allow the mask to dry for 10-20 minutes. This is the best part because you cannot be bothered! Tell everyone that it is imperative that you are not disturbed during the drying phase! You may want to lie down so the mask can better penetrate your skin.
Wash off the mask with water and a gently cleanser. Then apply your moisturizer as usual.
