Hair Conditioner
Tuesday, June 22, 2010
I have been spending a lot of time in the pool this year and the chlorine has taken its toll on my hair. I tried this at-home conditioning treatment with stuff from my fridge and pantry and it worked great.
Rinse hair and comb out any tangles.
Mix the following together:
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon honey
1 egg yolk
Coat your hair and comb it through. Put on a shower cap (yes, you will look lovely) and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Shampoo thoroughly.
By the way, the dollar store usually has 10 packs of shower caps.

That treatment sounds really healthy for your hair, as I am a hair stylist and recommend an olive oil treatment for dry ends or scalp. Another tip I would recommend would be to heat up a towel in the microwave for a minute or so and wrap your hair in the warm towel before you put the shower cap on. The heat will be help repair dry ends and moisturize the hair. It is a great treatment to do when your hair feels dry.
